Especially, after dominating the game from the opening faceoff and finishing with a season-high 45 shots, compared to 25 for the hapless Sabres, a season-low by any Panthers' opponent. Especially against this opponent, an undermanned, beat-up, young Sabres' team off to a franchise-worst 1-9-1 start, one that had scored more than two goals in just one game this season.
